Your Education President Niamh is here to explain the new COVID Mitigation Package that has just been approved. Further to the Postmaster e-mail that was sent to all students and staff on Thursday 11 February relating to the COVID MItigation Package, the University has provided a set of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) (you'll need to sign into SIMMSpace to read these). These should address most of the questions or queries you may have about the Package. The degree classification algorithms that will be used to calculate degree outcomes this year for undergraduate finalists and post-graduate students are also available here. and you can also watch the videos below which explain things a bit more. If you have any queries or questions about the changes set-out in the Package or the classification algorithms, please contact your ADSE in the first instance:

  • Janet Clegg (SAHPS) - janet.clegg@stmarys.ac.uk
  • Jane Chambers (Institute of Business Law and Society, Theology & Liberal Arts, Institute of Education) - jane.chambers@stmarys.ac.uk

Or you can contact your Programme Director.
