Fishing Society

The St. Mary’s University Fishing Society is here to provide an active outdoor environment for all students – helping to build networks, community, and friendships that last. Our ethos is adventure.

Activities include not only fishing but also: hiking, camping, wild photography/painting/drawing/writing, boating, swimming, and most outdoors activities.

We fish locally from Radnor Gardens to Hampton Court Palace for Roach, Perch, Pike, Zander, etc., and broadly from Loch Ness, Scotland, for Ferox trout, to the English Channel for Cod. There is also a friendly competition for every month, quarter, and year.
