Who we are

St Mary’s GAA is one of the oldest and most successful University Gaelic teams in the country. With the men’s and women’s committees joined, we strive to help each other to excel in the sport and socially. We are an inclusive club and cater for people of all abilities. Both the men’s and women’s team have numerous British Championships. We regularly organise socials/fundraisers together as well as events with other clubs across campus. We work hard but are also about having a good time, and right from the start you will be part of the Gaelic family.

We are a full BUCS sport and we were the St Mary’s 2015/16 Club of the Year. This was made possible by the large numbers of players who joined with no previous experience of the game. St Mary’s GAA are a club with a long tradition of high achievements and great social events, especially around St. Patrick’s Day.
