Whilst we are proud of our national football team’s achievements at the Euro 2021 competition; the BAME staff and student networks here at St Mary’s stand in solidarity with the black footballers against the ugly racist abuse they’ve received. Racism has no place in sport, or in the communities and spaces we all live in and share. We will continue to address racial inequalities.
