Please find below a message from the Shack 68 regarding tomorrow’s Crazy Golf event – they can’t wait to welcome you in. There are some specific timings that they’re asking different student ‘bubbles’ (our method of grouping students in halls) to adhere to. If you’re a commuter student and you’re not in a halls ‘bubble’ then you’ll need to go along between 12pm and 2.30pm tomorrow.

If you’ve got any questions, please phone the Shack on 020 8892 3328 ASAP to try and re-arrange a time for your visit.

Here’s their message:

“Dear St Mary’s Student,

I hope this e-mail finds you well. On behalf of the Shack 68, we can’t wait to welcome you tomorrow on what is sure to be a fun-filled day.

In alignment with current government guidelines, we kindly request that you pay attention to the following details. Given the limited capacity of our venue, and the high demand of bookings, we have allocated time-slots to each St Mary’s bubble. This is so we can adhere to social distancing practices, and to help keep each other safe. Please make a note of your time-slot below:

  • 12:00-2:30pm - Red, Blue, Light Blue bubbles
  • 2:45-5:15pm - Yellow, Green
  • 5:30-7:00pm - Orange, Purple

If you are unable to attend your designated time-slot, please call us on 020 8892 3328 and we will try to arrange another time for your visit. If you do not contact us and turn up to the wrong time-slot, you may be refused entry to the venue.

Please also ensure you have the following on your possession at the time of arrival:

  • Facemask or face covering
  • Student ID
  • Bubble ID
  • Email confirmation

Again, failure to present any of these may result in refusal at the door. In alignment with our cancelation policy, no refunds will be given 24 hours prior to the event.

So we all adhere to government guidelines, you are only permitted to sit on tables of no more than 6 people. Each table must consist of persons from the same bubble. There is to be no mixing between tables. Please help yourselves and us by arriving in the groups you would like to spend the afternoon with. If you fail to adhere to these rules, you will be asked to leave the venue.

If we all follow these simple guidelines, it will be a fun and exciting afternoon for all! In the meantime, please visit our website www.theshack.londonand social media accounts to see all of the exciting things we have to offer. If you still have any questions, they can be answered by your SMSU representatives. Failing that please get in touch with us via telephone on 020 8892 3328.

We look forward to seeing you!”
