Have you seen our new flag pole?
We are excited to share that St Mary’s has recently created a new flag pole just outside of Student Square to help enhance our visible commitment to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) for our staff and students.
The SMSU is working in partnership with our Staff and Student EDI Networks to fly flags celebrating and recognising different EDI awareness days and SMSU campaign weeks – most recently flying the Trans Flag to celebrate Transgender Awareness Week.
Please be on the lookout for more flags flown in the coming weeks and months to celebrate and raise awareness of the rich diversity of our campus community!
Ways to Get Involved in EDI
