Why I am qualified

I am a retired Marine Corps Non-commissioned Officer, with 5years of active service and experience in team leadership. Awards and decorations include the Purple Heart, Combat Action Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, 3 Certificates of appreciation, including one signed by President Obama, and many others.

I have tens of thousands of hours of experience in volunteer work in different sectors, including 6,000 hours as an NHS Volunteer Responder since the beginning of the Coronavirus Pandemic. Have 2 first class degrees – one in General Studies and one in Science – with a Focus Award in Creative Writing and am currently 3rd year in the Creative & Professional Writing programme.

What I will do for you

• I will donate the entirety of my SU paycheck towards improving societies and campus life.
• I will increase support of our sports teams with organised supporter events at games.
• I will install an electric BBQ on campus to be used by societies and clubs.
• I will improve access for disabled students and staff on campus.
• I will create a space which students can reserve for activities like arts, crafts, and tabletop games.
• I will establish a garden space where students and staff can grow their own vegetables.
• I will design a tartan for St. Mary’s and create a supporters’ scarf.
• I will help organize student hiking and camping trips.
• I will increase support for local charities.
