After talking to numerous students, especially 3rd years, most people have agreed 2022 year summer ball was superior over 2023.

Not only could you have summer ball with your own univeristy exclusivley but the volume of people was more, it lasted longer and you could celebrate your year of university actually on campus. Also allowing a theme / excuse to dress up.

The boat party was much smaller in numbers, music could not be heard from upstairs and the drinks were so much more expensive.

Having summer ball on campus will massively promote the bar, especially with say 10% off (promoting more sales) and allow on more students to participate. 
 

In terms of the fair, we are aware that is expensive. So this could be substituted with either more acts (like the ABBA night which was extremely popular) or some other activity which is must more less expensive but still inclusive.
