Recent incidents within halls of accommodation have been left unsolved, leaving all students in the halls to pick up the cost of broken equipment! This is unfair! Other University accommodations in the UK have security cameras within the hallways and kitchens, which allows their security to catch those responsible and not force people to pay money they do not owe. Cameras in halls will also allow Security to respond quicker to incidents and can also help crack down on any other events like sexual harassment in halls along with solving who is stealing food! Putting cameras in will allow students to rest easier knowing every issue will be resolved.
