On the 30th October at 4pm we will be hosting a zoom Q&A with Lanre Olabisi. Lanre is an award winning director/writer whose films have been screened on HBO, Showtime, Netflix and Hulu. He is an HBOAccess Directing Fellow and was just selected into the Disney General Entertainment Directing Program. He is currently in LA directing an episode of ABC’s ‘The Rookie’. He has also been a shadowing director on season 3 of HBO’s ‘Succession’ and season 2 of HBOMax’s ‘Love Life’. His movie ‘August the First’ played at over 35 film festivals including SXSW. Both of these events will be free for members of the Filmmaking Society and £5 for non-members. Anyone can attend, so please feel free to pass on this information to anyone you think would be interested. We will be asking attendees to research Lanre and Billy beforehand and to come prepared with questions.
