St. Mary’s University Fishing Society was founded in 2019 and has grown to be one of the largest societies on campus. We have won the SU award “Most Charitable Society” every year since the beginning – as well as many other awards – and are very committed to our members.
Events include not only fishing but also hiking, wild photography and painting, boating, swimming, theatre and cultural trips, karaoke nights, and many more.
Our emblem contains the symbols of the Mountain for Commitment, the Fish for Community, and the Anchor for Legacy, which are the core values of Fishing Society – we are committed to making friendships that last.
Our ethos is adventure.
